I saw a most strange cartoon this morning whilst waiting to take my 2 great nieces to school. It was called Archibald's Next Great Thing. In one episode one of the characters was wearing shoulder pads very a la Avon in Deathwatch and then the next one had a robot with 5 T 3 V 3 on it (or something like that)." That's his name, Steve," says its creator.. That brought to mind Mission to Destiny and 5 4 1 2 4. Are the makers of this cartoon series B7 fans????

Endless Midnight
Micheal Keating and Glynis Barber having played roles in EastEnders, I checked to find out if there were any episodes they were both in. I can only find two, according to listings on IMDB. Episodes shown on 26 January 2010 and 20 January 2017.

Is that based on an Alistair Maclean book? The title rings a bell, but I can't remember what it's about (I went through a Maclean phase in my early teens).
My very first date was to see 'Fear is the Key' at the cinema - adapted from the Maclean novel of the same name.

yes its Maclean, one of Tarantinos faves by all accounts, amazing boat chase.Love Fear is the Key, when eight bells toll Where eagles dare, navarone. I have a lot of his first editions.

I, too, went through a Maclean phase in my teens. Very easy to read, page turners. And the films are very easy to watch...although the body count in Where Eagles Dare gets more...amazing?...as the years go by. Puppet on a Chain hasn't been on TV for ages, at least, not on the paltry few channels I can get. Fear is the Key is doing the rounds on Talking Pics...I think I prefer the book despite the presence of Petrocelli. As for Guns of Navarone...that is def my fave.

what thing was that?! I remember watching it at the cinema when I was very young, the bleakness and the violence was something I'd never seen before. His anger is stunning, and his shock in the chain sequence...Vladek has a field day too!

I want Caravan to Vaccarres, not on dvd? the way to dusty death, and goodbye california. I have Eagles uk and usa editions. Love navarone, listening to the 3rd sequel read by Pacey

I was young. He was older, handsome, brave with a hint or ten of danger...he thrilled me...
Oh dear, must go and lie down...

There seems to be quite a large pool of B7 actors who also starred in horror movies earlier in their acting careers.

I watched the rest of that Alison Glennie show through (A Midsummer Nightmare) and it's not actually a horror movie, it's a thriller/drama. A bit on the slow side but otherwise good. Brian Blessed appears throughout as a detective.
