I need to add that this is a very partial list -- I'm a Blake fan, so I'm primarily interested in stories which have Blake in them (wherever possible), and stories which present Blake in a favourable light.

Thanks rojroj. I must admit I'm not a fan of stories running Blake down either.

Do you know if all the stories on your list suitable for a general audience?

You're welcome! They are all gen stories. "Mistaken" by Willa Shakespeare has a second chapter which is adult.

I've been tinkering with my very first story (ever, back in 1982/83) called All Our Tomorrows on the AO3 site and I notice that one can insert piccies.
I have several that were drawn for me over the years by Dave Bowden, Alison Newns, Tim P and of course our very own Lurena, but I've no idea how to go about inserting these things. Copying and pasting doesn't seem to work. Any ideas???
Cold.....you don't know the meaning of cold.

I have no clue how to do it, either. Perhaps you could write a comment to one of those stories on AO3 that have pictures, and ask the author how he/she did it?

Yes, "Rehearsal" has always been one of my fav brilliant short B7 fics too!

At the moment I am trying to collect stories which are related to individual episodes, so I was glad to discover "Rehearsal" for that reason, too -- so far it's the only one I've found which is related to "Breakdown".

Thank you for the nice comments! It was fun to write, but ironically was originally intended to be a Gan fic. Poor Gan - doomed to spend most of 'his' episode unconscious!

Thank you for doing this! Horizon's print zines had some excellent stories, but I'm not sure how many (if any?) are now online. I might have a word with our Supreme Commander....

You're most welcome! Yes, I'm aware that there are many great stories from the time of printed zines that, sadly, aren't available online...

Weekly digest for Blake's 7 Fanfiction group, 4 - 10 Jan.

To honour the anniversary, several more stories related to "The Way Back" were reviewed:

NO GOOD THING EVER DIES by Pat Fenech is Ravella's story: on her involvement with the rebellion, on how she approached Blake and convinced him to come with her to that fateful meeting.
https://web.archi...ogood.html

UNDER THE INFLUENCE by Altariel happens at the time of Blake's first arrest. We follow his interaction with the Federation interrogator/doctor -- but the interrogator also undergoes some change under Blake's influence.
https://deadship..../1467.html

HAPPINESS IN EXECUTION by still_lycoris tries to reconstruct the brainwashing process and Blake's first trial.

A weekly digest for Blake's 7 Fanfiction group

The following stories were reviewed in the group:

In the story FROM THE VERY BEGINNING by Aralias, Avon and Jenna leave Blake on Cygnus Alpha.
https://archiveof...ks/9124789

HALF A SAVAGE by Igenlode Wordsmith begins twenty years before the episode "Horizon". It provides a backstory for Ro and the Commissar and explains how the planet was colonized.
https://www.fanfi...f-a-Savage

MOSTLY EXAGGERATED by Elviaprose: Blake's followers and the Scorpio crew have all survived the encounter on Gauda Prime. The rebels spend the night in the forest, hiding from the Federation troops and telling ghost stories.
https://archiveof...ks/4270116

Other news:

Sue Little posted about the fan group Liberator Popular Front and their zine Orbit. The first four issues of Orbit have been uploaded to Sue's bookshelf, at https://www.media...ne%20Shelf

Other discussion topics in the group: narrative techniques used by fanfiction writers, and whether the characters are more talkative in fanfic than they were in canonical episodes :)

Which ones? I thought I'd checked each one personally, as Blake would say...

...unless you mean Judith Proctor's "A Berth on the London" where we find out what happened to Gan's wife? There's also one of the stories by Riley C where Blake and Soolin start a relationship. But there's nothing explicit in either of them.

Please enlighten me, if there's anything offensive I will edit my posts and remove it.
