Slight change of plan, the Royal Oak was fully booked due to having a large party in, but Iíve managed to get us in at Black Horse in Fulmer instead.

I've just checked Clare, The Pub doesn't seem to have Trifle among its desserts...the reason I looked? Huggy today discovered Trifle (Iceland's, the shop, not the country).
He's also very partial to Cheese and Pickle!!!
Cold.....you don't know the meaning of cold.
Cold is when you have ice on the INSIDE of the window!!!

Do you take Federation Express?

Anyway, down and safe in central London after a long train ride from Edinburgh.
Long cab ride from King's Cross to our hotel in Paddy made longer when some stupid bear in a raincoat darted out in front of our cab.

Looking forward to seeing all of you tomorrow at some time, and Ellen and Huggy at 9:30 at Paddy.

I hope it's not too foggy for you today! If it doesn't lift here, it will be difficult to see Grandson playing football!!! And as Dearest runs the line...how is he going to flag up offside?

Looking at the forecast we purchased an umbrella yesterday, so it probably wonít rain, But of course if we hadnít, it would be ark building time.

But of course! Not having an umbrella is a very effective way of making it rain.

I'll bring my umbrella, too! Looks as if we will bask in glorious sunshine...

A wonderful day. A big thank you to all our Horizon mates, but especially to Clare for organizing, and to the Og Taxi Service (Trevor Travis) for getting us there and back from the train station.

This is why we come to England every year. Thank you all for a wonderful time.

clareblues1
Youíre welcome Brad! A real pleasure to have your company today Smile

Despite the rain we have had a really good day and a lovely pub lunch too.

Hey guys, great day and really good to be able to have a good catch up with everyone. I've downloaded a few photos for all to enjoy (particularly if you like trees): https://imgur.com...

Cheers.

To answer the question of what I was doing in the bushes, I was crouching in them and hiding a power cell in them, as Blake and Avon do in the episode Grin

Unlike Vila, I love trees! Thank you Scott for so many great pictures of those majestic pillars of nature. Smile
And unlike most people, I love The Web and it was a thrill to see those locations, especially that ferny forest patch where Trevor Travis was crouching - love that scene with Blake and Avon messing with those power cells. Smile
