2019 releases have been announced at Big Finish

https://www.bigfinish.com/news/v/new-series-of-blake-s-7

A new series of full-cast audios sees the original cast of Blake’s 7 return for more exciting adventures in Blake’s 7: Restoration.

Continuing from the 2018 series Blake’s 7: Crossfire, the universe has been plunged into chaos, with civil war dividing the Federation. The crew of the Liberator narrowly survived the chaos, and now the universe must be rebuilt after the devastation…

Paul Darrow, Jan Chappell, Michael Keating and Steven Pacey all recreate their roles from the classic TV series, with Alistair Lock providing the voices of computers Orac and Zen. And continuing on from her debut season last year as Dayna, Yasmin Bannerman also reprises her role with the cast of Blake’s 7.

Four new adventures see the Liberator crew starting to rebuild after a Federation in chaos:

Damage Control by Trevor Baxendale
The Hunted by Iain McLaughlin
Figurehead by Scott Harrison
Abandon Ship by Steve Lyons

The Liberator is badly damaged and falling into a star, Avon is close to death after a gunshot wound to the stomach and Cally is unconscious – there seems no hope in our series opener Damage Control by Trevor Baxendale.

The Hunted by Iain McLaughlin sees the President of the Federation track them down, and Avon and Vila find themselves hunted once more.

The Liberator is still crippled in the third story and Cally is determined to find someone who can help, but old allies become enemies in Figurehead by Scott Harrison.

And the final story of the set, Abandon Ship by Steve Lyons, finds the Liberator at breaking point and the crew must rely on the help of the imprisoned engineer Ozaban – but can he even be trusted if they can’t trust each other?

Restoration Part 1 will be released in January 2019, with Part 2 released in July 2019 and the concluding Part 3 in November 2019. Each release will be available from Big Finish at £28 on CD or £25 on download. Don't forget each CD purchase unlocks a download option from the Big Finish app or site.

Also coming out in January 2019, we’ve a new Blake’s 7 book release. Blake's 7: Uprising by Christopher Cooper is edited by Xanna Eve Chown.

I just saw this on the Big Finish site and am super happy about it.

Such a crummy time I’ve had lately, it will be something fun to look forward to.

Happy about the news but not happy that their prices has increased. Spoils of War and the three Crossfire box sets cost £80 download as a bundle. The three box sets of Restoration costs £72. That is an increase of £4 per box set to download.

Yes, the boxsets are getting more expensive, although there's only three next year which is a lot fewer than when they were doing Liberator Chronicles.

I also find the books too expensive. I haven't picked up Heroes yet which seems to be exclusive to Big Finish and not available anywhere else. So I guess I'll have to wait for a sale.

The increase is just the cost of a pint of beer! We're just really bloody lucky to be getting these new releases...

Its a new one with The Liberator being out of action for so long, the crew have always relied on its near magical auto repair systems to take care of things

On the promotional video for Restoration, that interior 3D model looks *very* familiar... the ceiling and alcove are quite unique.

That's pretty naughty, Big Finish...

What really bugs me in that promotional video is that Avon is wearing Season 4 clothes in clearly Season 3 story. Why?
It's made for die-hard fans, and should get such details right.
As it is, it drives me bonkers, sorry. Wink

Oh wow, skororu. I'm so sorry to hear that Big Finish would use your assets without asking you first. They did a trailer earlier for "B7: The Way Forward" (here) and I assumed they'd done some kind of a deal with you. It's clearly your ceiling etc.

Well that is interesting... that one's using a much earlier version of the model before the discussion we had here about what to fill the areas not seen in the TV footage with.

Though some details such as the stage left tunnel geometry, the renderer and textures have been changed, other details make it clearly identifiable such as the arrangement of empty/filled guns spaces in the gun rack, the way the fins on the set are terminated, some details on the console in the central seating area which I added that didn't match the TV footage, and the way the corners are formed around the consoles near Zen.

I wish they had contacted me... but they certainly didn't. I have got in contact with Big Finish, let's see what they say.

They did apologise - and were quite friendly - but did keep directing me back to the freelancer who they employed to create the material in such a way that I felt they weren't really owning the problem.

I have decided to leave the licence as non-commercial, and have informed them of that.

As someone who relies on copyright legislation to make a living, I think that’s atrocious. I hope the freelancer got rapped over the knuckles and that he or she gets no more work from them. Also, any freelancer who works in a pool as small as this one and thinks no one will notice a theft like this is a fool as well as dishonest.

Mrs_Underhill
Yeah and let me remind everyone again that this freelancer put 4th Season Avon into 3rd Season promo video, which is atrocious of you are doing it for a very small pool of very diehard fans.
