42nd Anniversary Rewatch - C1 Aftermath
M1795537 OC Virn
Hi folks. I'm early for once. Just dropped a full bottle of a coke zero - won't be attempting to open that for a while.... but I do have the (green) Pringles I won in our online Family Bingo Extravaganza last night. Never done Bingo before. It made a change from our usual quiz, but I wouldn't say it was my favourite (except for the winning).

Wanted to share my favourite pic from Aftermath:

Also - not so interesting but a chance to name-drop: out of hundreds of attendees, I once managed to walk into Cy Grant TWICE in one day at a big music/dance festival. He was very nice about it....but I still felt like an idiot.

Anyway, hope we have as much fun tonight as they seem to be having in the dunes.
You're not sulking, I hope?

And if you knew how much my Mum had to save to get that VHS and the tapes from Radio Rentals! Sheesh - I don't think my little sister ever wore any new clothes. Or even nappies.

I didn't have a recorder back then, but it cost me a fortune in sweeties and juice to keep 2 young children quiet while the episode was on!!!!
Me and your Mum also saved a bit of dosh back in 1983, Iain, when we went to Galacticon. We shared a hotel room. "Name?" asked the receptionist. And with as much as a straight face as we could muster we both replied "Little and Short". The look on the lady's face was priceless.
Cold.....you don't know the meaning of cold.
Cold is when you have ice on the INSIDE of the window!!!

You are okay with the green pringles, I won't snaffle any. My Prawn Cocktail ones will be opened next week when I get my hair cut at last. Them and a glass of white wine!!

I will be sending one of my minions out to find more pink pringles in the near future. Far be it from me to waste my time on a job only fit for a Delta.

Good evening from a pringleless country!
All set with tea and marble-cake.

Oh and wet towels, headache painkillers and the wish to care for Avon.

To quote Avon from Dawn, 'Three guesses ... if you need them.'

(By the way, thanks for the 'clam princess' and sorry for not having replied yet. I'll be in touch!)
