I have to say Seasons Seven and Eight were a slog at times, but I'm glad we got thought them to get to the Dave era. |

Both those seasons had their moments - the outlandish pre-titles sequence to Stoke Me A Clipper is brilliant, the munchkin Rimmers are superb and Cassandra is a great episode. But at the same time, there was a run of three episodes without Chris Barrie followed by a 30-minute storyline stretched over 90 minutes! |
