Right, I've pressed 'play'.
I've just been laughing at your attempt to sync us, Travisina. When I am usually way behind posting whatever time I start :/

It's like herding cats Wink

Hi Ellen. Yep, and that's just to get us all to start. Before we've even got delayed in listening by the usual evening interuptions, lol.

And the usual side conversations.

The only problem with all these audio stories for me, is that they have so much story detail in them that I'll still be needing to pay attention all the time, even after I've heard them ten times. I can bearly type and listen, let alone have a side conversation, lol.
Avon: "Not enough! Not nearly enough! Dammit, what weighs seventy kilos?"
Orac: "Vila weighs seventy-three kilos, Avon."
Avon: "Vila, are you here? I need your help."

They stand up to multiple re-listens, that's for sure!
My views are my own.

VILA: I'm entitled to my opinion.
AVON: It is your assumption that we are entitled to it as well that is irritating.

Oops, the plan didn't work Sad

Just as I start to type about a bit of the story that is fabulous, along comes the very next sentance, and that's just as fabulous! There's not been a bit of this I haven't wanted to chat about. But it's evolving too fast for me!

Vila and his very enthusiastic ex was quite a surprise. Vila sounds scared. And rightly so!

Oh, dear. Vila's in for it!
Zil: Oneness must resist the Host.

There was a reference to 'Juve Cubes' - that was naughtily stolen from Judge Dredd!
My views are my own.

Great dialogue between Tarrant and Vila!

I've loved all the dialogue so far. Tarrant is brilliantly funny and dangerous, and Vila has everyone sized up.

I love how Vila slid through to the bar, appologising for bumping into people, and lifting all their wallets on the way! Shocking behaviour, but very Vila!

I absolutely adore Steven Pacey. Wonderful as Tarrant and so nice to us in real life.

That's lovely to hear. I only know him from his character, and 'behind the scenes' type clips, but I'd guess he's very nice, as the nasty (according to Vila) character he plays, comes across as really quite a nice guy Smile

He was the first of the cast that I met. Some of us went to see him in Relative Values at one of the theaters in London and he was kind enough to meet us after the show.

Just for clarification, the group seeing Relative Values was Ellen, Brad and me, Trevor Travis and Space Dispatcher. I only wish I had the photo ready to go- I'd have posted it.

You've all been to so many show and events that the cast have been part of - and I bet every one was wonderful! - that I need a guide to who was a what, where and when! One day I'll find time to read more from this forum!

Despite all the insults, Vila and Tarrant are looking out for each other.

This is so funny - scary - funny...! Even Rosca was laughing as she died. This scene of Vila being rescued by Tarrant is the best of all to me. Poor Vila has been terribly traumatised, yet he's still joking.

This is such a great story! Action, humour, brilliant dialogue - and more filling in the gaps in series 3. Now they've got a good reason for ignoring any more messages from Blake.

And wow - Servalan!!

Naughty. I'd not heard that name used before (I've not seen Judge Dredd), but it stood out as a term I thought I must have missed elsewhere in B7. I think it was only said once, so I wonder why they bothered to steel it. Maybe just because it rhymes nicely?

Possibly?
The only other jarring note was Tarrant referring to Liberator's 'bridge' (should have been flight deck, obvs). But apart from those minor niggles, I LOVE this story. Chris Cooper writes really well, and it sounds like the actors had a lot of fun making it.

That story was fast paced! Servalan shows up, having already wiped out everyone on the outpost, to tell the last survivor that the last survivor is about to be killed while trying to escape. One quick last murder and she's back to Earth.

That was great fun. I will need to listen again very soon. See you all next time. And hopefully TT too.
