Off work today, so I'm here.

Hello, Ellen. Glad you could join me (us) whoever!

TT must have an active social life since he is ditching us Wink

Did he finally 'catch' Soolin?

Or does he have to go find Og before the neighbors complain?

Or maybe Og and Soolin have gone off together?

And TT is in mourning because he has lost Soolin forever?

Jan performs it very well. It's her birthday today, by the way!

Appropriate day to be listening to this story.

As much as Jan knocks this out of the park, to coin a phrase, this story is not one of my favorites.

It is a bit of an odd one.

Speaking of growing things, how is your garden doing?

Nor mine. It's very long - could have done with trimming. There's a lot of repetition.

Just started. I planted it 6 days ago and the radishes are up but it's so dry I'm out there each day watering.

I have one (1) young tomato plant, a present from a friend. So far, it's been chomped by pigeons, slugs, ants, woodlice and caterpillars. I'll be amazed if it survives Sad

Is it bad of me to feel sympathy for the Verenki? Everyone is just trying to survive, you know. It's not their fault they're big & ugly looking.

Years ago I tried to grow bell peppers. They were eaten by bugs, horrible large grasshoppery things. I hope your tomato does better.

It has been wet here, maybe some of the rain will head your way.

I agree.

And were the Verenki there first? It sounds like the humans were colonists.
