I finally saw The Greatest Showman tonight. What a wonderful, cheerful musical. I am a huge Hugh Jackman fan so I was just smiling through the entire movie but not just for him. Songs were great and catchy and those dancing number were really something! I can´t wait to have this on Blu-Ray.

I may have mentioned this to you before, Klenotka, but have you seen the version of Barnum with Michael Crawford? Amazing. Much as I love Hugh Jackman, Crawford is my favorite. But I do intend seeing The Greatest Showman soon and I'm a fan of Hugh's so it's all good.

No, I haven´t...if I am not mistaken, this is different (from what I read). But Barnum as a person is basically unknown here so no surprise we (I) heard about him the first time with this movie.

Watched Secret Life of the Zoo last night. Apparantly one of their male chimps is called Vila. Do you think the person who named him is a B7 fan by any chance or just a coincidence?

Binge watching "The Crown".

Watched a recreation of the typical 1950's sci-fi film called "Flying Saucer Rock and Roll". The Zombie Beatniks were the best part of the film, that and the 50's style ray gun made out of an Electrolux vacuum cleaner canister!

War Gods of the Deep - 1965

Loosely based on an Edgar Allen Poe tale starring Vincent Price, but we spotted Arthur Hewlett (The old man from The Keeper) and Tony Selby (Sabalon Glitz from Trial of a Time Lord). Oh, and Herbert the Rooster as himself (in the end credits that way).

We looked it up, they do. Thanks!

Watched the Riff Trax Anniversary DVD with all the MST 3K personalities in it. It was a live show and they did a number of 'shorts' and we spent 2 hours laughing our behinds off! They haven't lost a thing after all these years.

This afternoon watched The Moody Blues: Days of Future Passed concert from Toronto, Canada. Can't believe my boys have been doing this for over 50 years. Still great- lot of fun- amazing hearing them with an orchestra!

I am now part way through series 5 of "Allo Allo"

This series is 26 episodes rather than the norm of about 7 and you do notice it, a lot more padding and the jokes are a little tired by now.

However, there are still plenty of laugh out loud moments

Ok Paula, be watching new Trek soon

Just went to see The Shape of Water with my husband and daughter. I quite enjoyed it. My daughter is still shocked that we took her to see what she called “fish porn”. It’s quite an odd film, to be honest, but very well done.
