Remembering Gareth Thomas on what would have been his 80th birthday

Greatly missed and fondly remembered always

If you haven’t already, do take a look at the online Performance Biography for Gareth. It’s a work-in-progress and hasn’t reached the Blake’s 7 era yet, but there’s a wealth of information and photos (kindly provided by Gareth’s family) from his early career already posted. You can see Gareth’s first forays into acting (when he was still at school), his training at RADA, his early theatre roles including the RSC in the late 1960s, and first screen appearances on film and TV. There is a wealth of never-before-seen photographs, letters, programmes, and other ephemera from Gareth’s own personal collection, with more being added to the site regularly
