staring at 7.30pm Aussie time, 10.30am UK time B2 Shadow In which Blake suggests an alliance with the most despicable criminals in the galaxy, and manages to wipe out a whole species. Enough said. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

An ABBA painting class. The mind boggles. Sorry I'm late. Been gold plating. It's icky business. Glad I'm here now, though, for the Chris Boucher debut. I like this ep. a lot. All well MsVirn? Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Largo is delightfully slimy. But he doesn't have Servalan's class.

Hello everyone. This is a rather good episode - on the whole I am realising that I prefer series 2 to series 1. |

Hi, AnneA. Yes, some clever writing from Mr Boucher. and as always, he leaves the way open for someone to follow up his breadcrumbs with fics about the Terra Nostra etc etc.

The architecture of Space City is rather weird. Possibly containers brought out there and repurposed? |

Hi, AnneA. Yes, some clever writing from Mr Boucher. and as always, he leaves the way open for someone to follow up his breadcrumbs with fics about the Terra Nostra etc etc. This is one of the things about Blakes 7. Lots of interesting ideas developed so far and no further. If this was Star Trek (one of the nineties ones at any rate) there would be at least two follow-up episodes, charting the development and eventual demise of the Terra Nostra, getting less plausible every time. |

Does Chris Boucher have the most audioplay/Big Finish spin offs? Terra Nostra, Star Cops, Kaldor City... |

Uh oh. Vila's gone AWOL with the tame rodent. What I really like about this episode is how sharp – and adult – all the characters become. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Don't like to think what Vila might be up to. And Boucher leaves it all to our imagination.

How does ORAC's button actually work? It doesn't seem to switch it off, so what does it do? Allow communication? |

I would pair this Space City episode with Freedom City episode, Gambit. I like the complicated politics it brings to the Federation. Really gives the universe a feeling of being a bit untamed. |

How does ORAC's button actually work? It doesn't seem to switch it off, so what does it do? Allow communication? It simply enables communication with the organics. Orac is busy all the time as he lets them know frequently. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

I love how dangerous Orac is in his first 4-6 episodes... it's unclear for so long whether it is good for them or not: People die acquiring it, it predicts their death, and now it's attacking Cally! I like Series D but Orac is completely wasted.
