 UK Rewatch - B5 Pressure Point (Tuesday, April 28th)

Sorry folks. We just had an 18 hour power outage caused by the latest storm and just got our power back on minutes ago. At least we didn't have to haul our generator out to run the fridge- but it was a close run thing. That must have been some storm!!! Had a bit of a heavy wind in the afternoon which took down trees and wires, in the PM, we had mainly rain, but then the power went at 8 pm and was off until just after 2 PM today. Neighbor has a gas powered generator going powering the fridge I expect- we nearly pulled ours out but luckily we are back on- now to fix the clocks and other things which need rebooting! But we're fine. Any damage to the house? No, just some branches down from the trees. Resist the Host

Only from me banging my head against the wall as the power company texted that power would be restored at 03:15 08:30 10:00 13:58 and power came on at about 14:00 Here, when our power goes off, the power people keep calling us every 30 mins to check we're OK. Guess that doesn't happen with you? "You're not sulking, I hope?"

Blake, you can't leave Veron THERE! Hopefully the security system is still off But Blake doesn't know that Let's face it.... Verron is better off finding her own way out than hitching a ride with Blake. As far as we know, Verron survives episode 52 because she is NOT in it. . .  Cockatoo? What Cockatoo? That's some frock, Servalan. Have we come to a decision as to what that creature crawling up her front is? (yes, I know, TT. It's happy). I’m more curious about how the outfit change happened. Cally: You're not wearing THAT to a potential confrontation with Servalan, are you? Jenna: Good point, better pack something formal in case the Supreme Commander shows up. No, we can get texts as to what is going on but the amount of damage last night was enormous- in our town, the county, the numerous counties around us and even into a few other states. It was a huge system, but luckily it was the winds and trees, not a tornado that was the cause. Resist the Host

Well, let's hope for continued power for next week so we don't miss another episode! Thanks for all the concern, people. We appreciated it. But where we live, it's often the case of a power loss because of a tornado or severe storm. A fact of life. 'Night all.
