Rewatch Downunder Saturday 25th April B4 Horizon
M1795537OCVirn
Start times: Downunder, 7.30pm, UK 10.30 am.

B4 Horizon
For those of us with a Season 2 Box set, remember you need disc 2. OK, where are we now? Horizon, a neutral planet hiding behind a force field. Why? Blake thinks it might be a nice place to have as a base, or at least somewhere they can have a rest.
Needless to say, he's wrong. The Federation are already there, and working on that 'neutrality' thing.
What's memorable about this episode? Some really nice costumes.

I hope to be here for this one, I have no alternative plans and am racing around like crazy to finish my day early so I can sit down and watch this rewatch with you. :-) I really want to join you for this one because this is where Blake and Jenna destroy the Federation and live happily ever after…….

Tyce
And she slides into home base with two minutes to spare…..

Good evening Tyce!

Thinks: Let's hope it's only the bases that are loaded this evening...

Yes, in comparison to a Boucher episode, there's hardly anything going on.

No, rounders is English. As English as apple pie.

Well, we were talking about good old home base (not Homebase (TM)), but then we realised Zukan probably blabbed so we blew it up. Fortunately Tyce was already on the slide and slud straight past with nary a singed eyebrow.

If Vila didn't spend all his time whining, they might like him a bit more. After all, he often saves the day.

Uh oh. Vila's about to begin the slide into soma addiction.

If this Blake guy was my boss I'd be looking for the exits, just in case. Mark you, I've known one like him. Female and a total, short-sighted lickspittle.

I do like Jenna‘s dress.

Avon might run, eh? I would, if I had to put up with leadership like Blake's. Fantastic spaceships and world-beating computers aren't everything you know. There's more where they came from.

Hello everyone. We're still on disc 1 on the Dutch CDs, Ms Virn - disc 2 next week.

I like this episode - lots of good world building, even though they are still stuck with the old-fashioned but surprisingly prevalent idea that slave labour is the best way to mine anything.

Talking of CDs, is the new BBC one really called 'Revenge of the Mutoes', rather than Mutoids?

HI, AnneA. Yes, it's mutoes. The stories are from the old B7 Annuals,

Interesting. There used to be a lane in Elie (a village in Fife where we spent summer holidays) called Muttoes Wynd. Perhaps that's where they are plotting their revenge from?
