Hello everyone. Late as usual - I have just bought a lapel pin which reads 'Always great, often late'. Just about sums it up, I think. Was this Terry Nation's last script for Blakes 7? Hi AA, I hope you are well. I'm fine, thank you. Sorry to hear about your back. |

I like the self-repairing cables. It seems the Federatiion isn't so far behind Liberator's technology. |

I like the self-repairing cables. Must have been a pain getting it exactly right for filming- wonder how many takes it took. Probably quite a few. Anything about it in the documentaries for the Series B blu-rays? I'm assuming there are some. I have barely been able to think of things like the blu-rays, we've been so caught up with our friend. Note to self: buy blu-rays. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Veron took the teleport bracelets, but where did they end up? Did the Feds get them?
"You're not sulking, I hope?"

Veron annoys me. She's too wet. They needed someone more determined. If Kasabi is leading a rebel cell then she'd do better making sure her daughter take care of herself. The first comparison that comes to mind is the mother in Terminator bringing up her son to be the future leader of the resistance. |

Kasabi's useless force doesn't notice Servalan standing on a ridge above them. Instead of ordering her forces to fire at Servalan, she gives the order to run. Everyone is inevitably mown down. Not really proof of a strategic genius. Yes, the "Run!" instruction is daft. "Down!" or something similar would have made more sense, or "Fire!" Perhaps her desire to protect her daughter made her chose that option, but "Down!" would have been better. Once captured she proves she klnows Servalan's character, so turning their backs on her should have been out of the question. It's interesting that she clearly knows who Travis is too. As a political officer (as described by Servalan) she would no doubt have known all the relevant players. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

AVON: You go the minute I give the word. Considering he has a total of eight seconds to run across, surely that should be “You go the ‘second’ I give the word.” |

Totalitarianism promotes technological advancement for its own protection but it does also like to stifle imagination so it hasn't quite got there yet. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Considering he has a total of eight seconds to run across, surely that should be “You go the ‘second’ I give the word.” I think he knew that using the word 'second' would be too confusing for their little brains in that situation. They'd start wondering who was going first. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

At least Kasabi was a bit mucky. Long hair is ridiculous in battle contexts. A good opportunity to get your scalp ripped off. I used to watch tv programs about the Revolutionary Youth in Syria doing their training and the young women clambering through barbed wire with hair flowing. Utterly daft. But at least they were grubby. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

SERVALAN: Who are you? She’s the one that’s come to destroy you and the Federation and then live happily ever after. This is a good feminist episode in that the women are relegated to teleport duty, as per usual, and then come charging in to save the day when the men screw up. |

LOVE Servalan's dress. Really. It's exquisite. And tiny when you see it. Anyway, at least Travis got a laugh out of Blake's egotism. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Servalan nips off to change in the middle of it all...but why? Well, she was wiping off the grime after dealing with Kasabi and then slipped into something more comfortable, sans the pantyhose, and then along came Jenna with her little shoulder bag. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Servalan nips off to change in the middle of it all...but why? As she is wearing the old outift when Jenna shows up, it seems to suggest that Jenna made her change. But that still leaves the same question! |

I've got some good pics of the actors in the studio with that ladder they go down. One of the improvements on the Blu-ray is that they add some extra details to each room with CGI to help differentiate them. |

Just a reminder, I’ll be in the UK from Sunday, 23 May until Sunday, 31 May. If anyone wants to catch up. I just looked on the homepage and noticed that the only cast member play finishes the day I arrive. :-( Do any of you know of anything else that might be happening in London with any cast members while I’m there? |

I have to say, I enjoy those far more than the souped-up episodes which are really only for those people who can't cope with the fact that TV technology was different before they were born. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.
