I’ve always noticed where the face of that dragonfly is but this is the first time I noticed where it’s a claws are placed. LOL That was the first thing I noticed about it. |

SERVALAN: Who are you? She’s the one that’s come to destroy you and the Federation and then live happily ever after. This is a good feminist episode in that the women are relegated to teleport duty, as per usual, and then come charging in to save the day when the men screw up. :-) |

I've got some good pics of the actors in the studio with that ladder they go down. One of the improvements on the Blu-ray is that they add some extra details to each room with CGI to help differentiate them. Are there any documentaries? I have to say, I enjoy those far more than the souped-up episodes which are really only for those people who can't cope with the fact that TV technology was different before they were born. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Just a reminder, I’ll be in the UK from Sunday, 23 May until Sunday, 31 May. If anyone wants to catch up. I just looked on the homepage and noticed that the only cast member play finishes the day I arrive. :-( Do any of you know of anything else that might be happening in London with any cast members while I’m there? I'm up for meeting up on Monday 24th if you would like. I'm in London about then. Yay. I’ll pencil you in. |

Travis: I have to think like Blake. Where is the most dangerous place he could go? Sounds like he's sussed Blake out alright. They have a lot in common. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

AVON: You go the minute I give the word. Considering he has a total of eight seconds to run across, surely that should be “You go the ‘second’ I give the word.” Perhaps he was meant to say 'moment'. |

I'm hoping to make it over there for August but still have to establish if the current government thinks I'm British after my having assumed, since 1983, that I'm not. Such bollocks. I hope you didn't have to go through all that. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

I'll pay the price, but I do think there is a lot of reinventing of wheels. The docos, however, are worth every penny. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

In real life he'd just yell 'GO' at them - wouldn't bother saying all the other stuff. It made sense to the writer but it doesn't when you're stressed out trying to survive in a hostile environment. I keep thinking ‘what the *?!*’ That's pretty much my reaction - unlike Obsidian, I find this dress rather ridiculous. I wonder if Jenna thought the same, and made Servalan change into it for the lols? |

I can’t get past the fact that the face of the dragonfly is snuggled between her breasts. I keep thinking ‘what the *?!*’ I think it's brilliant. It emphasises Servalan's sexuality and the fact that she uses it. Ms. Pearce must have been a Size 2 or something, though. It is tiny. Then again, it's about the size I used to wear at that age. Sigh. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Yes, it's a ridiculous frock, but it's less formal, more relaxed than her outdoor garments, which might have been ever so slightly contaminated by then. She felt better for changing. Or would have, if Travis hadn't blown the place up. She'd been due to have lunch with a friend after this, and needed the 'day' dress. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

Almost time for lunch. Rewatching is such a relaxing way to while away a Saturday morning. But my dog has a new red ball and is trying to remind me I need to throw it for him, so...duty calls. Take care, everyone. See you next time for 'Trial'. Rats. I've just remembered I need to finish sorting out those images out for Diane. Bye. "You're not sulking, I hope?"
