Is this the start of the jokey endings?
"You're not sulking, I hope?"

Can you be executed based on a military court marshall ‘after’ you’ve been dismissed from the service??? I suppose the sentence is passed while he is part of the service. Dismissing him is a symbolic repudiation. |

I like that Travis gets to yell at everyone. And they take it and deal with it with forbearance. Not like magistrates here. They know they have the power to have him shot at any minute. Pure class and pure power. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

The new FX include a big spaceship orbiting around Space Command, similar to a pursuit ship but larger and different. Presumably it's meant to be Samor's flag ship. I've just see that the six ships Liberator slips past using the detector shield includes two of these larger ships, so i'll have to change my theory. |

Hmm. Well, now. Travis now understands his options and Blake is looking increasingly maniacal.
Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Servalan setting the trigger word as "outlaw" works so much better & believably than when she sets the trigger phrase "Behold the mutants shall wither". |

The Battle Fleet Commander in Volcano has an entirely different craft, doesn't he? Maybe Samor's was like that? Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Servalan setting the trigger word as "outlaw" works so much better & believably than when she sets the trigger phrase "Behold the mutants shall wither". Yes, but nobody else is going to come up with something as weirdly surreal as that one. It's one of her best lines, IMO. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

Obsidian, completely off topic, a while ago you told me the author/titles of some books that were heavily B7 influenced. I've forgotten what they were. Can you please remind me again, if you know what I'm talking about? Otherwise I will comb back through the older threads. |

Like testing out a new word you've just learned? Maybe at the supermarket, over the leeks. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

It's so perverse. I wondered if we're meant to assume it's a quotation. "Set the trigger phrase to 'Now is the winter of my discontent'" or somesuch. |

Can you please remind me again, if you know what I'm talking about? Otherwise I will comb back through the older threads. Yes, can't remember everything I might have mentioned, but the first is Christopher Brookmyre's 'Bedlam'. Also his later work 'Places in the Darkness'. He is a confessed B7 fan. I'm sure there's something else, too, but can't remember straight away. Will think on't. Hope that helps. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

I'll be interested to see what the Federation ships racing to Star One look like in the new FX, once we get to it. Must buy, must buy... A lot of the episodes don't have that much opportunity for new FX, so you're not missing out on a great deal, though the new documentary/features are quite good. Do you have a way to play Blu-rays? |

Christopher Brookmyre's 'Bedlam'. Also his later work 'Places in the Darkness'. He is a confessed B7 fan. That rings a bell. I think that may have been it. Thanks Obsidian, I will look them up. That said, if you do think of anything else, please let me know. |
