I still dislike this episode for the way it completely sidesteps the question of why Blake and co. don't keel over from the virus, but otherwise it's entertaining enough. Avon & Vila need to be furtive, which keeps them away from most of the base crew once the outbreak starts. Presumably Dr Bellfriar only contracted it after Blake has left. We could also guess that the teleport may have filtered it out, but that would contradict Children of Auron when the crew bring people on board to help with the Trout plague engineered by Servalan. |

Stuff doesn't stick – evidently. However, the virus doesn't spread into Tynus' section until people start running round, nor into Dr Bellfriar's section until he handles it under the microscope thingy. Vila is the most exposed when he sees Tak in the corridor, but doesn't touch him. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Well, it looks like we are done and everyone has gone. Good night Obsidian, Tyce, Cashavere. Good day Ms Virn, AnneA, Ms Virn's dog. And, through the magic mirror, good to see you lovely lurkers. Enjoy your weekend! |

OK, time to get back to real life. The dog is looking very bored. Don't think he likes this episode. Bye, all! Dogs are not good critics. Cats, on the other hand... Have a good week MsVirn! Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Vila is the most exposed when he sees Tak in the corridor, but doesn't touch him. But the thing is running riot through the base, getting everywhere. It's clearly airborne, and as Blake tells Bellfriar to switch off the air conditioning, it has been on, and spreading the virus, when he, Vila and Avon were all breathing it, and exposing themselves. Sorry, but they were exposed. I would accept the explanation that the Liberator has a medical bay that can both stop them getting the disease and stop them contaminating the others, but that needs to be explained, and the fact that it isn't just bugs me to the point where it spoils the episode. |

Sorry, typo, it did NOT come through. It won't let me send messages - 'the user's inbox is full', is that me or you? I will keep trying, but my phone number is still the one ending 823. I think that will be the one you have. |
