Another thing I hadn't noticed before is that one of the walls in the corridor set is plastic sheeting over a framework. It's appeared at least three times. The first time I wasn't sure if I saw it right, but the next time it appeared, I saw it billow as Avon & Vila ran past. |

What is that thing round Tynus's head? And why? Bling? The brown bugs all wear them. Never explained, but I think we can write all kinds of purposes for them. Just watch Years and Years if you haven't already. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Yes, Blake, there has to be a warning. But Avon might think you could have waited until Servalan arrived...

You can really see here that Avon's outfit is blue leather, Perfect timing! I read this comment and then looked up to see the light catching his costume and really showing off the blue. Yet another 'new' thing to notice. |

What is that thing round Tynus's head? And why? Bling? It's PPE. It protects the computer equipment from minor static discharge. Of course, it doesn't protect Tynus if he topples into an open computer console. |

Hello everyone - sorry I'm late. I was enjoying sitting in the sun having breakfast rather too much, and forgot the time. Sorry to hear you're not feeling well, Tyce - hope you feel better soon. Are you still interested in meeting up next Monday? I doubt there will be another protest next week - they tend to be few and far between, fortunately. And we're back again at my least favourite episode . . . Hi AA, Really pleased to hear that it is unlikely there will be a protest next week. Yes, I’m still very keen to meet up on Monday. Did we fix a time and place yet? I can’t remember. No, we didn't. Where are you staying? Premier Inn in Stratford. OK. From Cambridge there are regular trains to King's Cross and less regular ones to Liverpool Street, so somewhere fairly central would suit me best, but I could also come out to Stratford if it would be easier for you. Okay, I’m probably happy to meet you central but I’ll just check on a map where things are in relation to each other and then I’ll confirm. Assuming your phone number hasn’t changed since last year, I have got your phone number. Otherwise, if you don’t hear from me by next Saturday, I’ll PM you. I've just confirmed my phone number in the messages. |

Yet another 'new' thing to notice. It's actually very obvious right back at Redemption when he sits next to Jenna who is wearing black and silver. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Yes, Blake, there has to be a warning. But Avon might think you could have waited until Servalan arrived... No, Blake is right this time - you can't be sure who will be infected or what the plague will do. Stopping it from spreading is the only thing. |

It's very handy that Liberator happens to come stocked with transmitter beacons. I wonder if NASA remembered to include some in the Orion when it flew around the moon recently. |

Well, I like that episode. Dr Bellfriar is refreshingly intelligent and unflustered, and Tynus is a very smooth administrator, especially with his Cuban-heeled boots. The way they snipe at each other is perfect. The story is good and the costumes stand out for not looking totally 1970s.
Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

A really good episode, one of Robert Holmes two good B7 scripts. Lots of good lines. Paul Daneman does a great job in the role. The plague make-up is good too; particularly the blisters on their knuckles etc. The costumes are the only negative for me. I think they detract from what is otherwise an excellent story. |

I still dislike this episode for the way it completely sidesteps the question of why Blake and co. don't keel over from the virus, but otherwise it's entertaining enough. |

Avon & Vila need to be furtive, which keeps them away from most of the base crew once the outbreak starts. Presumably Dr Bellfriar only contracted it after Blake has left. We could also guess that the teleport may have filtered it out, but that would contradict Children of Auron when the crew bring people on board to help with the Trout plague engineered by Servalan. |

I still dislike this episode for the way it completely sidesteps the question of why Blake and co. don't keel over from the virus, but otherwise it's entertaining enough. Because they're our heroes. Stuff doesn't stick – evidently. However, the virus doesn't spread into Tynus' section until people start running round, nor into Dr Bellfriar's section until he handles it under the microscope thingy. Vila is the most exposed when he sees Tak in the corridor, but doesn't touch him. Don't philosophise at me you electronic moron.

Vila is the most exposed when he sees Tak in the corridor, but doesn't touch him. But the thing is running riot through the base, getting everywhere. It's clearly airborne, and as Blake tells Bellfriar to switch off the air conditioning, it has been on, and spreading the virus, when he, Vila and Avon were all breathing it, and exposing themselves. Sorry, but they were exposed. I would accept the explanation that the Liberator has a medical bay that can both stop them getting the disease and stop them contaminating the others, but that needs to be explained, and the fact that it isn't just bugs me to the point where it spoils the episode. |
