 Rewatch Downunder Saturday 20th June B12 The Keeper

Starting at 7.30pm Downunder and 10.30am UK. B12 the Keeper It's all gone a bit Shakespearean again, with fools and kings and mistaken identities galore. There's a tribe with the weird custom of pitching their tents underground, which to me seems a bit OTT in terms of 'shelter', which is what a tent is mostly about. Nevertheless, the Supreme Commander (and President-in-waiting) brings plenty of fur coats because she's heard things can get cold in down there. For Jenna (yes, remember her? Teleport operator in chief) things become a little too hot, and while Cally and Avon argue, Travis wins the race. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

I watched this one on the Blu-ray with the commentary with Sally and Brian and Toby Hadoke. They are discussing the fact that this was voted the second least favour episode of all by fans (Animals being the least favourite). I’m stunned, I like really like this one, in fact one of my favourites. |

Jenna is great in this episode, though I would like to see her as a pilot in some other situations. On a completely different ship in another galaxy, perhaps? Yeah, I was rather stunned too. I think Sally was also. I felt a bit sorry for her actually partly because I have a feeling that was the first time she’d heard that. |
