I like the little round one with the flashing light. Reminds me of being stuck behind a tractor on our rural roads.

A friend and I once got caught up in the Malton Young Farmers Association vintage tractor rally. We parked in a field entrance and waited for them to go past - there were about 70 of them!

I think they're kinda adorable. I like the big round one that looks like an old vacuum cleaner. Like my Mum's one from the 50s–60s that weighed a ton, then the plastic one I got in the 70s.

None of this is literal at all. Again, none of these writers had a clue about the figures. What matters is that other galaxies are the unknown and it's more than likely that ALL other galaxies are considered alien.

You've got to look at it this way: how did Liberator and Travis' craft manage to get pushed into another galaxy in Duel when we know for a fact – and knew this fact at the time (it's been known since the 1920s) – that Andromeda is the nearest galaxy to ours? How come another galaxy just popped up nearby? Not possible.

Who said it's nearby, it might be Andromeda, it might be the next which is 2.7 - 3 million l.y.
But if we're not taking it literally, I don't think the authors intended material extraterrestrial life at all, if we interpret things allegorically:
Star One is the symbol of evil's power source, its invisibility is its strongest protection, and identifying it is 99% of destroying it. Star One represents the media that spread fundamental lies, such as the claim that biological evolution exists and that it is normal for people to kill each other in the struggle for material goods. The aliens inhabiting politicians’ bodies are demons who have destroyed them as personalities. A change in Blake’s course from destroying Star One to protecting it would occur if the media began to be used to spread truth and fight ignorance, which is the main chain enslaving humanity.
Blake is a "believer" - I think they suggest Biblical kind of belief in which the Federation is the "beast" from the Bible.
But they might even not realize what actually they were suggesting

Well, it’s actually more a rusty colour. It just comes out more pink in the photo.

I'd love to see a tractor rally. It'd been like that film about the steam rollers (really showing my age).

In Bulgaria they never ever aired it again, despite it was the most loved film, while they are airing all the other retros hundreds times.

They only repeated it once here, but then, it has to do with who has paid for the rights.

It was annoying, but also great fun. The drivers were clearly having a great time, and waved as they went past. We kept thinking that they were all past, and starting to inch out, when another ancient Massey Fergusson would come put-putting along and we would have to wait again.

Doubt it is the most expensive.
