In comparison, Avon’s belief in money is simply beyond discussion.

I love the interiors of the Star One station. Clever design.

I've always seen them as something akin to various inter-linked radio telescopes.

It's the only time anyone says anything like this, and all other references suggest, as this episode does, that humanity has remained in the one galaxy. I have always assumed that Travis mis-spoke, and meant 'The other patrols have pushed him into this [sector of the] galaxy'

The most interesting unresolved question for me is what guarantees the aliens gave Travis that they would bother to provide him with the opportunity to carry out the final act rather than simply kill him.
