Servalan was sneaking around outside. The camera focused on her foot as if she was about to step on a bear trap -- but suddenly a Sarren runs in from the side and barges her to the ground. Talk about misdirection.

One of the best exchanges in B7 for me:

'I shall want a gun'
'There is only one'
'I only want one...'

Done to perfection by two very good actors. Great stuff.
"You're not sulking, I hope?"

Tyce
Why did Avon have two teleport bracelets? Don’t tell me one for him and one for Orac. LOL

AnneArthur
And the first of many occasions when Dayna talks, rather than shooting Servalan.

Tyce
Hey, that curly haired fellow isn’t Blake.

It goes well with Avon & Vila's exchange in "Rescue".

"Er, your wouldn't like to leave the gun, would you?"
"That's right. I wouldn't."

Oh, stuff it, Tarrant. You're not scary at all. Klegg is more the part. His hair isn't all curly.

AnneArthur
'What are you doing on my ship?' Excellent way to end!

One for Ron? It would have been a sensible thing to do, to carry extra, though I doubt that was thought through beforehand.

Right, I've got to dash off. Great to see you all - see you again next week I hope.

She ought to have said "Me!" and then blasted her away, only we hadn't advanced as far as that kind of move in prime time yet, except on the news.

Everywhere they go they run into cranky people. Servalan, Sarrens, Tarrant... no one is happy in the Federation. Was it Vila who said "Why is no one ever happy to see us?"

Great episode to start the new series.

We aren't told how long the Andromedan War lasted - days, weeks, months, years? But Servalan didn't even have time to change her frock before she ended up on Sarran, so it can only have been a few hours at best. Naturally, the Federation won the war, but its aftermath (see what i did there?) leaves our heroes scattered about the local galaxy. Somehow Avon manages to hold on to Orac, and proceeds to snog two women, neither of whom end up dead - yet. No sign of Blake, Jenna, Cally or Vila. Do hope they're all right. Oh, and no horses were harmed in the making of this episode.

Uh oh, I’m out of Blu-rays.

Could be days, weeks, months or years later and Servalan just washed her dress and is now re-wearing it. Hand washed of course, I can just see her in the bathroom, dunking it up and down in soap suds.

Blake and Jenna aren’t around for this episode, they are on a different planet helping the wounded. But not to worry they’ll return next week, destroy the Federation and live happily ever after.

See you soon. :-)

I was just going to say this about Servalan - although without your details about hand-washing the frock. I like the idea! Alhough sadly I think she would get a mutoid to do it for her.

The same mutoid who kept her eyeshadow touched up?

Probablyz.

And the lippy. BTW, do you want my ticket to Northern Horizon? It's one of the special, "hang out with the guests" tickets. Unless the fairy godmother drops in soon, I'm not going to make it. We just got the costing for the renovations. Gulp!

Sorry to hear that Obsidian. :-(

No, no, that was that other chap. What was his name? Made a total behind of himself. Oh, that's right - Derriere.

A bit porpoise pool-y. Reminds me of the old Centenary Pools in Brisbane. Cor, they were sooooo funky. The Jetsons would have felt right at home.

A second Jarriere? Perhaps not that bad, but he's too pretty to be a Fed, that's for sure.

Yeah, it's a shame. I don't think I can make an excuse for it given the cost of the renovations, and we don't have any grannies, or even their gold teeth, left to sell.

That's very kind of you! But I really didn't enjoy it last year - people were so unfriendly, and although the cast were interesting, it was a rather lonely experience. It would be more of a draw if I knew other people who were going, to be honest.

But I'm so sorry you aren't going to be able to make it.

By people, read boys. I could possibly rustle up a couple of boys who aren't too bad. Will get back to you. If not, I might make it a last-minute bid-for ticket somehow.

That would make a considerable difference. Last year was so disappointing - I had imagined it might be a bit like this forum, but no-one seemed to want to talk to anyone they didn't know already. The management should have done more to get people to mix, IMO.

I’m really sorry to hear you had a bad experience AA. We such a small community we really need to befriend each other.

There's an invisible forcefield that does the same job. You can't see it but it doesn't come untucked and you don't need to wash it.

Cool.

Silver lurex is probably quite hot. Not my choice. Forcefield sounds better.
