The episode: Colin Seven – Children Of Auron (Carry On Up The Space Maternity Ward) The date: Tuesday, August 11th, 2026 The time: 7.45pm UK time In which Servalan has realised that she’s not going to get babies from Avon (too grumpy) or Jarvik (too dead), so decides that to order up a dozen clone babies from Auron; we meet one of Cally’s clone sisters – the rather wet Zelda; the two senior members of Servie’s crew spend the whole episode in-fighting, which is not a good idea when Servie has you marked with her own mini-IMIPAK device; and we discover that Pilot Four-Zero is not keen on Ambrosia Custard. Episode in a word: Genocide. Character to cheer: I think I need my head examining, but I’m going for Servie. This is HER episode, which she generously allows the Libby crew to be in as well. Yes, she proves here that she’s a total psychopath and the ends ALWAYS justify whatever the means in her book, even if it means infecting the whole of Auron with a bad batch of custard, just so that she can have babies and have an outside chance of capturing the Liberator. But at least she’s stylish whilst she’s doing it. Characters to boo: Avon for cracking a joke, and the rest of the crew for laughing at it, while Cally is crying herself to sleep in her cabin after Servie’s mass murder of her people. Is Soolin looking lovely this week?: Yes. Recognisable Face: Michael Troughton (the ill-fated Pilot Four-Zero) has a very wide resume, as well as being the son of Doctor Who. I always recognise him as Piers Fletcher-Dervish, the sidekick of Rik Mayall’s sadistic Alan B’Stard in the New Statesman. Best line: “I want that pilot alive. Alive and vulnerable.” Blake's 7 will return in… Carry On Killing Squirrels Vote Og.

It’s 19:45 Earth Standard Time, and here is the news from Earth Dome One. I am your in-studio reporter, Lee R. Pantsonfire. Our top story tonight, Auron devastated. Yes, the planet of telepaths, Auron, has been virtually wiped out by plague. This reporter has to wonder why none of the telepaths saw it coming. The death toll is near total, despite immediate aid rendered by President Servalan, whose fleet just happened to be in the area. Auron has a long history of rebellion. Citizen Patar, who sometimes goes under the alias Actor Jack McKenzie, famously fought with the rebels against the galactic empire, a long time ago in a galaxy far far away. And, pilot four-zero comes from a long line of Prydonian renegades. While Federation forces under President Servalan were gallantly attempting to aid the Auronar, members of the terrorist organization led by Kerr Avon, in the absence of Roj Blake, were seen on the planet. This humble news reader leaves his listeners to draw their own conclusions as to whether there is any connection once again between Avon appearing, and innocent people dying. The Federation forces, gallantly led by President Servalan, suffered two casualties, officers Ginka and Deral, who died in service to the Federation and President Servalan, while gallantly trying to save some of the Auronar gene stocks. Auon is now officially a dead planet, as the last survivors, and the last surviving Auron gene stocks, were kidnapped by Kerr Avon and the criminals on Liberator. One has to wonder what, given a couple of decades, Avon might do with an army of telepaths. Then again, he’s done very little with Liberator, so this reporter can, perhaps, be forgiven if he postulates that we will never hear anything about this incident ever again.
