It does look impressive but I'm not sure that my credit card can stretch to this: any news on paperback editions?

We decided we could not do without these books and recently ordered them. Yay.

I’m ashamed to say I’ve only discovered the BF series of novels relatively recently — am gradually working my way through the back catalogue and am enjoying them almost as much as the Original Cast audioplays/books. I can’t wait for this set to come out!

I'd love to order the boxset but they're rather a bit pricey to order and ship for Canada. Has anyone received copies yet? Wondering what everyone's impression of the books are? How are the story adaptations?

Oo-er, my books have come! Double wrapped in cardboard with an almost unbreakable mass of sticky tape all around it. I attacked with a kitchen knife wondering what the hell it was...
...it's a box of loveliness. Looking forward to digging into them.

That was quick! I got notice mine have shipped, but it takes forever for trans-Atlantic shipping (and don't ask about the price of postage Sad )

Yes! Postage was big enough to choke a horse as they say. But still, we bit the bullet and got the set. Looking forward to getting our set within a month....

Amazingly, we got our book package after just 5 days of receiving the email it was to be sent. It was easy to unwrap, the big, dangerous looking 'fragile' tape, the first cardboard container, the second cardboard container and finally the plastic wrap. It arrived in pristine condition, thank you Big Finish. I certainly hope series 2,3 and 4 are handled the same way! it's a treasure for any B7 fan to own.

Blimey and I thought it was steep at £99!

As an FYI you can listen to an interview with Paul Cornell about the adaptations on https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0f...y/p0fcdq2s. The interview starts at approximately 14 minutes into the programme.

I have to say I too would be quite interested to hear the thoughts of those that have received these books. Much as I have appreciated Big Finish's efforts to produce more Blake's 7 material I found that the standard of copyediting for their original novels was not always that great. If I do take the plunge and attract the wrath of my credit card company and my domestic Servalan I would like to know that I'm getting a top quality product.
