Thursday 11th July, Starting at 7.45pm (BST) S03 E05 The Terrible Toys https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9JEz...9JEzntVD0c An old man, adrift at sea, is rescued along with a sack of toys by the Seaview*. The toys take on a life of their own and begin to sabotage the ship. They appear to be connected to an alien space ship lying on the ocean floor. The old 'alien ship' ploy, eh? Don't remember this one at all, but it was deemed OK for Sunday evening viewing, in the days when that mattered, so I think we can assume it's safe to watch. (Don't worry, SC, I'm still looking out for an episode with the captain in tight black leather). *The painful construction of that sentence makes it sound as if the bag was left beside our favourite sub. I doubt that's the case. Try this instead: 'The Seaview rescues an old man who was adrift at sea, along with a sack of toys'. Or can you do better? "You're not sulking, I hope?"

That's two sentences, OSP. Replace the full stop with a colon then you drama grammar queen. I mean, if you're going to attempt something, at least stick to the given format. Rules are important, OSP, but I don't suppose you rebels are taught that concept. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

I don't think it's a real sub. It hasn't sprung a single leak yet.

Are they not going to open the bag to see what's in it? That's taking a person's right to privacy a bit far, I think. |

Toys in the AC ducts! Oh, no! That's a nice twist on the usual escaping theme.

With all that energy being thrown into the sea between the two vessels, electrolysis should mean various metals start coating the hull.

I'm beginning to understand how these 2nd calendar flicks have helped to corrupt your mind. "You're not sulking, I hope?"
