Here's a thing. I've just been invited to go and see 'The Mousetrap' up in London*, the small matter of 52 years after I was taken to see the play as a primary school boy - a production which featured, of course, a certain thespian called Mr Paul Darrow in a 'pivotal role' (shall we say). Longest of long long long shots - did anyone else in the Horizon community see Mr D as Detective Sergeant Trotter back in '72? Indeed, had any of you actually been born by then? Incidentally, my very murky memory is that Paul D was absolutely excellent as the DS. The others I've seen in the role have been a bit ropey (i.e. too attention-seeking). * Just for the record, this will be my fourth time. Apols - just realised this should be under 'Cast 'n' Crew'.
