That can't be OSP or M Kid - they're both northern!

So Snetterton’s a frog-whisperer…

Cygnus Bazza
In my experience, you can have a conversation with a frog as long as you only ask them questions about individual books and whether they’ve read them

There's some sort of rebellion going on with the frogs!

Revolution! Reminds me – in the 70s I had the obligatory Che Guevara poster on my bedroom wall. Never had the tennis player scratching her bum. Or scratching Che Guevara’s bum for that matter. Not sure they stocked that one in Athena.

Alright there, John Laurie!

This episode isn't quite as effective as some of the others.

In reality, the Silly Route to India passes through OSP’s library. When I say ‘OSP’s library’, she doesn’t own it. Though you’d never have guessed it.

I had neither. I was only six at the end of 1979. Incidentally, the 1979 Christmas No 1 is a classic - nice and Christmassy. Well, not really, but a good rebellion song!

Agreed. A bit laugh-lite and hasn't dated well. Can see why they tucked it away second-last in the first series. Like hiding away a naff album track in the middle of Side 2.

Hobnobbing with the locals? I don’t think it’s the hobbing that’s the problem
