This one's a bit boring really. No action. Nobody's stabbed anyone. All face shots and nattering. Actually, I'm not sure this episode warrants a full episode, if you see what I mean. |

What does lying down to eat do to your digestion?

In every age, through history, it’s always been the same: too much arson about. |

What does lying down to eat do to your digestion? At least they're not eating ultraprocessed foods |

In every age, through history, it’s always been the same: too much arson about. You could certainly teach OSP a thing or two about being economical with asterisks. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

TV dramas always have to have a court scene, don't they?

This series holds up extremely well. Still hugely impressive. Only found out this week that ITV made a 'similar' series in the late 60s called 'The Caesars'. It's on YouTube. I'm still looking for the Italian dubbed version |

Are we almost halfway? Time for a natural break for Eurovision and Church Meetings. |

Yet again we come to the end. I shall miss you next week. Take care, all, and don't do anything to make Livia even slightly irritated. Like being born. Great casting for Caligula, btw.

Well, we don't know where this church is. Could be in the Seychelles... Was there ever a St Oke, patron saint of the potty (in both senses)? Edit: Should have added, even extending to non-believers, Happy Eurovision Week (which starts on Sunday with the Turquoise Carpet event, since you didn't ask). I think I might prefer the books to all this rambling. The books are excellent, though I never feel the second book has a proper ending. I find Robert Graves very easy to read, though I'm also a big fan of the BBC TV production. |
