To nick your catchphrase, M1/M'Kid/M'Boss, this'd better be good. Or shall we dub you Dark M'ater for the duration? I know nada about this series. Never heard of it. I won't cheat and consult Wikipedia to give me the heads-up. And I won't watch the three I've missed before tomorrow. Apart from that, I'm all in. What could possibly go wrong? Excellent news, Cee Beebies. Now we'll see how American SF stands up to the CB treatment. And don't worry, you get a potted rehash of the previous 3 episodes to start it off.

Are there lots of jokes in Dark Matter or will I have to supply my own? |

New name? Hadn't noticed. I mean, as long as you remember who is in charge, what does it matter? Hi, OSP. Edited by M1795537OCVirn on 03-09-2026 18:41 "You're not sulking, I hope?"

Are there lots of jokes in Dark Matter or will I have to supply my own? You joke anyway. You say 'joke', I say 'forensically dissect with trenchant humour'. That's the difference between Stoke and Oxford, I suppose. |

Are there lots of jokes in Dark Matter or will I have to supply my own? I doubt there'll be many. The clue is in the title - dark. They do throw in an occasional attempt at humour, but it's hardly a joke by your standards. Serious stuff, this space drama. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

I do wonder if I am coming at this from a different angle from other people. I like 'group of people on a space ship/station' series - all the possible variations on that - so Blakes 7 fits in with Star Trek, Babylon 5, Firefly etc. - and with this series. I get the impression that other people come at Blakes 7 from a 'vintage British TV angle' - would I be right to think that? |

They’re going to leave the one who looks like Cally behind, aren’t they? Sitting at a console. |

‘Dark Matter’ would be a great name for a trendy range of artisan 90% chocolate |

She really wants to buy something. There is a quote from one of our cartoons: If you want to buy some unnecessary things, you need to sell some unnecessary things first. |

Looks like an 80s doctor’s waiting room. Just needs a pile of dog-eared mags with crosswords half-done and knitting patterns torn out |

A one in three chance. The same as the chances of catching OSP in a good mood. |
