Jan Chappell evidently found it hilarious that the writers always latched onto the idea of Cally being telepathic and had her brains being sucked out and replaced by voices. Good thing she did, otherwise she might have given up earlier.

I’m going to have to practice this sleeping standing up. Cally doesn’t look particularly comfortable but I should think it would be great for digestion. I think you might have to be an Auron in the process of being 'absorbed' for it to be comfortable. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

Lot of dachshunds about, including one lady who was pushing four around, with two other dogs, in a big trolley. |

Oh no! The original script called for the heads to be chopped off the bodies on the conveyor belt, the brains fed to the core and then the remains discarded. Uncle Vere chose to tone it down. What a shame!
