I don’t think Five’s as famous as the Famous Five yet.

I like the Five Find-Outers more.

Who they?

Book series by Enid Blyton.

Same thing surely...Julian, Dick and Anne, George and Timmy the do-o-o-og?

You said Jjlian! Hjat!

Kapla!

What does that mean?

Ask Worf, I've forgotten.

Qapla means success apparently

Thanks.

They need to make sure they all fire at the same time, on the count of three.

This scenario has been done before in space but I can't recall....

Enter the good guys...what a waste of effort. The GA should have just left them to kill each other off. Wouldn't have taken long.

Yes, there was something familiar.

'The GA'? Trust you to be on intimate terms with the fascists.

Right. Who saw that coming? Oh. All of us.

Off to the Greek islands next week?

I think we should let you choose the next rewatches. I liked your ideas.

What about Soviet Jungle Book?

Would that be good for nearer Christmas? A splurge of children's stuff in December would be great

Soviet Mowgli isn't so light and funny as Disney cartoon. It's not funny at all.

I'd prefer the Jungle Book.

Well, it is a bit gloomy.

Do things die in it? Animals, I mean. Not good for any time in that case...

Yes! Disney soviet style for the run up to crimbo!

There's also a classic ghostly Brit 1970s kids serial that would take 3 weeks. So 4 rewatches in all in December.

Of course!
It is after Kipling after all.

I must concur. Leave the animals alone!

What's the children's ghost story called? I may have seen it.

This cartoon is still pretty good. I can suggest something else, of course. On the other way, Anne is fine with it.

I doubt it. 2-up, 2-down terraced houses are rarely the setting for ghost stories.

Cygnus Bazza
I wonder if the Jungle Book thing might be a bit iffy for us snowflakes?

AnneArthur
So what are we watching next week, then?

M1795537OCVirn
Right, I'm off.
I don't fancy anything where cartoon animals kill each other in Russian. Still think CB had some good suggestions...if only I could remember what they were.

'Remember that your sole purpose in life
Is to act as a warning to others'
(Les Barker, from 'The Verb to Be)

(Also 'Never stand between the dog and the lamp-post'Wink.
