That episode really is the gold standard in cringe comedy. For my money, Prunella Scales was an even better bit of casting than Andrew Sachs - and even more important to both the basic brilliance and the long-term popularity of the show. Enjoy the next brace!

Enjoy the next brace! There are so many perfect 10s in FT. The casting was nigh on perfect but you are right about Prunella Scales. I think her contribution is underestimated. Such a nuanced performance. But the show was blessed with the right actor being put into the right role. Silflay hraka, u embleer rah!
