Alpha Grade Posts: 5419 Joined: 14.06.22	Not many sitcoms deliver fully formed classics straight out of the gate like this one did. And these two episodes crank the quality up even further. They blend those two key FT ingredients - conflict and farce - absolutely beautifully and all the characters are now, essentially, fully formed. Amazing stuff that bears endless rewatching - not least to give a bit more space to those little throwaway lines which are absolute gems in their own right but can initially get lost a tad in the trademark FT noise/furore/mayhem. Plus, of course, there were vanishingly few episodes of any TV programme at all that didn't benefit hugely from some added Bernard Cribbins.
