A great episode indeed. Also unusual in that two redshirts beamed down to the surface, and both returned. Something went wrong at the script-editing stage I was thinking of it as a definite plus! |

Maybe in AA's timeline, Edith doesn't get clattered, Hitler wins and M1 is President of the Galaxy. M1? That's the dream. (Hers, not mine.) |

Amok Time next, presumably? I really do think we should have rewatched all 80-odd of these, tbh. |

Amok time sounds good. I need to go now - I haven't eaten, and I have nothing in the house to eat, so I need to catch Sainsbury's before it closes . . . |

Hello rebels, Sorry I didn't make this episode. Unexpected visitors and real life and lost kittens got in the way. I sorted the visitors eventually, found the kittens but the RL stuff just keeps coming. Anyway, sounds like you had a good time, based on food, italics, Spock's shirts and the magnificent Joan. She is good in this, and in most things, viewed with the right eyes. In fact, before there was JP, there was JC, in my pantheon. Another (whose initials don't coincide at all) is AL. I'll leave you to work out who she is. Clue: hair, apparently. I hadn't realised it until recently. OSP is quite right, Spock has three shirts, as issued by the QM. Additional to that quota, replacements, other than those destroyed in the line of duty, are at his own expense. FYI: My full title is M1795537 Officer Commanding, Virn, and I have no ambition to rule the galaxy, She's already doing it so well. I think that needs to be made VERY clear. In writing. Besides, any hint of ambition in that direction could land one in BIG trouble. To answer your question CB: sadly, this website doesn't do different fonts, but I could make the text more colourful if it would help. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

AL? Mmmmmm.... Anni-frid Lyngstad! Things are looking up. Actually, M1 has told me about this before so I won't spoil the fun - tempted as I am to give you an additional clue. Well, OK then - just a very small nudge in the right direction. Focus on the 1980s. |

What are we guessing if you have told us the answer.? I know who she is btw... Ah. I've had a shocker there. I didn't word that last post very well at all. Frida was my little (well, tiny) joke. M1's 'AL' is different - the floor is yours... (In other Trek-related news, within the last two days George Takei has started to regularly pop up in my Twitter timeline. Never happened before. Have Elon's algorithms somehow detected the rewatches by snooping around my new laptop???? I find this sort of thing slightly unnerving, not least because I 100% don't remotely understand how it works. Just to be clear, I've never mentioned Trek on Twitter.)
