LONDO. Starts as a clown..... The development of Londo and of G'Kar is one of my favourite things about Babylon 5. Star Trek started something similar with Gul Dukat, then panicked, and tried to shove him back in the box marked 'villain', although by that stage he didn't really fit into that box any more. |

I think the 'third age of mankind' is a bit too Lord of the Rings for me. There are rather too many echoes of Tolkien in Babylon 5 - it's one of its weaknesses, IMO. |
