Interesting change to make the Enoi humans who can speak basic English rather than creatures! I'll have to re read the book. It's been a while but I do remember what happens to Weena in the book... It's got far more social commentary. Books can always be more detailed,fuller. No time constraints as in films, plays, series etc I plan to live forever,or die trying.

Interesting change to make the Enoi humans who can speak basic English rather than creatures! Enoi...ennui...boredom. Lose the basic instincts to survive, to fight... and we lose everything, apparently. 'Peace' isn't all it's cracked up to be. Nice explanation, although I think I mistyped it, it's eloi. Whatever you call them, they're no better than animals...I think that's what the film is trying to say. Sadly, all this time and he hasn't even asked what happened to Mrs Whatsit who spent all her time looking after him. Ingrate! "You're not sulking, I hope?"

I use audiobooks for at least 36 years, modern version of books,I can drive,wash up etc But I used to read 2-4 books a week ,none lately I plan to live forever,or die trying.
