More like an internet cafe these days. Free to use, pay only for printing, get into loads of arguments about why a low funded service should charge for some of its services. Great, in other words.

Hello everyone. Give me a second to put my dinner plate away, and I'll be ready.

Glad I got out of it years ago! The 'new' (then) coffee machine never wanted to work - spent half the time fixing it. Or re-doing book jackets because of coffee... And then there was all the Job Centre stuff that also never worked as expected!

I always do the day's dishes last thing at night - the theory is that it saves water and detergent, but in fact I'm just lazy.

When does Sarah come from, then? The nineteenth century, but earlier than Tom?

I think Tom short for Edward is later that the devil child too

Would people really ALL have thought that Sarah was evil? People did have birthmarks, James II of Scotland, for example, in the fifteenth century, and no-one seems to have thought he was cursed.

AnneArthur
Yes, definitely earlier - there are still servants with wigs.

I worked with a woman who had a facial disfiguration worse than this girl's. People's attitude to her was horrendous.

I like tricorn hats.

They make me think of steeleye span. All around my hat... and "off their caps did fling singing how d'ye do..."

Concentrate! Tom (short for Edward) isn't well and you're going on about hats?
