Do all BBC spaceships have metal walls? Well metal in space ships is quite helpful. Yeah, I'm not sure if spaceships made out of bananas would work as well! Why not? But my point is they all look exactly the same. Boring. And other races would probably have developed different technologies, using - for example - ceramics, glass etc. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

I mean, they could have brightened things up with a few holograms. Or even projected backgrounds. Instead, they more or less invented steampunk.

David Tennant's mother in law Who is? So is he the son-in-law of Peter Davison, then? Dr Who is starting to look very incestuous. Edited by AnneArthur on 06-03-2025 20:53 |

That was wonderful! I don't think I've seen it since it first came out, but (apart from Zaphod's extra head) it really stands up well. |

OK, I'm not wildly impressed, TBH. TV makes everything happen at once... and loudly. But you knew I was going to prefer the books, didn't you? The casting is good, and it does hang together nicely, though. See you next time anyway.
