What are we watching then? The Hitch-Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy, Episodes 3 and 4
The date: Thursday, March 13th, 2025
The time: Part 1: 7.45pm UK time and Part 2: 8.20pm UK time

Pack your towel, your dressing gown, your Babelfish, and of course your trusty edition of The Hitch-Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy, as we join Arthur Dent and Ford Prefect as we search for both the answer to Life, The Universe and Everything and also the length of the Intergalactic War.

I can't wait for the episode where Marvin doesn't say "it's crap". I have a feeling it's one of these 2 but I could be wrong....Grin

Talking of dressing gowns, it's interesting there's not a single of them mention in the first two books - in fact, there's a mention somewhere of Arthur simply being in normal clothes. Get to Life, The Universe And Everything (published one year after the TV Series) and suddenly there's references galore to Arthur being in his dressing gown.

It's not just B7 that made its continuity as it went along... Douglas Adams did it too!

PS Have you got a bath? Bring that instead. It'll come in handy once we get to Episodes 5 and 6 Wink

Sorry that I'm going to have to miss this one - another tedious (no doubt) meeting. I will catch up!

I know what you mean. It still feels like half day closing which is bad when you're open all day.

Sorry about your pain, TT. Don't worry, it won't spoil my viewing tonight.
I think the (im)probability drive is one of the best inventions of Sf.

They didn't do CGI in 1981. They did CSO - not very well. I think this is an acutal quarry!
