Thursday 4th September Legend of Robin Hood (BBC, 1975) Episode 6
M1795537OCVirn
Start time 7.45pm (BST)

Episode 6
So King Richard is languishing in Leopold's dungeons, the sheriff is looking even more sneaky than usual, Guy has made off with Marian...whatever is poor Robin going to do? Will he ever get a break? Perhaps he should have had a few bushcraft lessons before he started all this? As we reach the sixth and final episode, maybe we'll find out.

"You're not sulking, I hope?"

Cygnus Bazza
Will Marian finally do something interesting?
Will Gisborne continue to thin out his prospective in-laws, to keep a lid on the drinks bill at the reception?
Will Eleanor of Aquaplane add to her bevy of royal titles by marrying King of Calypso Harry Belafonte?
Will Little John take Robin to an industrial tribunal regarding his discriminatory nickname?
Will Air Fryer Tuck just stick a pie in the microwave to cut down on the washing up?
Will Alan-a-Dale turn up before the credits (and the good times) roll, to sing that Bryan Adams song which was at Number One for over twice as long as Liz 'National' Truss was Prime Minister?
Will the actor who plays the Sheriff of Nottingham go on to better things? Or just things?

Anyone else literally (and appropriately) a-quiver with near-apathy?

Ooh, you're a caution, mr de bonce and no mistake. Just you wait. Any more of this bad behaviour and you'll get an arrow right in....well, you know... the arras. Yes, that arras when 'arold gets it in the eye...

I thought 'arras' was a curtain, or the price of a bride. Or better yet, a place in France. You going to lure CB to France with the promise of a bride, then shoot him through the curtain?

Sounds like a plan...
"An arras is a tapestry that's hung as a decoration, especially one decorated with complex stitched designs" hence the reference to Harold. And Poloniys hides behind an arras in Hamlet, apparently. Been a long time since I've seen the play so I'll just take the internet's word on that. See you later for...The End.

Lured to France to be faye-dunaway-with, eh??

O conspiracy! Sham'st thou to show thy dangerous brow by night. As Brutus says in JC, or possibly Jay-Z.

Careful who you plot your treason against, faithless pair. Sworn to protect Baron Bazza’s life with their own worthless ones, I can soon muster my men. Men of the calibre of Walter de Spenser, Lord Luke Cleaner and Sir Titus Fock.

Not Amber Bangle then? No, she's the type who'd get taken over by aliens.

My pool of man and womanpower is deep, broad and not purely ornamental.

Here we are, then, for the last waltz...

7.45pm? That sounds like a plan. If AnneA's still having her tea, so be it.

She'll still be on the amuse-bouches, I'd have thought.

It's enough to make the name of Gisborne hated throughout the kingdom!

That's good. It will be difficult when you will put the clock back in the autumn. For now it is fine.

Richard’s best bet to escape from Austria is to tag along with the von Trapp family
