This'll be interesting. I haven't seen S1 since it came out and I can't remember seeing S2. But I thought it was funny at the time. As usual, not supported seriously (or comically) by the Beeb. I am looking forward to seeing this.

Planning to give this a go. I watched the first two episodes a couple of years ago, on M1 Thingy's recommendation. While it wasn't necessarily up there with Red Dwarf - which would be asking a lot - it was definitely watchable and struck me as the sort of show that probably needs multiple viewings to appreciate the smaller details. Bring it on! |

Episode one starts where nobody else dares to go - discovering the dangers of going to the toilet in space!

Apologies from Cygnus Bazza, he can't do Wednesdays ATM. How's everybody else? Freezing here, but no snow. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

Evening all! ![]() It's cold outside (but I have atmosphere, don't worry!) but not snowing. I'm here with a wee dram of whisky (Glen Moray) and some choccie (cow spot). |

Good to have you with us (me!) Huggy! Thanks. It's a pity that I missed the Fawlty Towers rewatch but I'm glad to be here for this. |

Good evening. I have had a very trying day with a man called Henry Lomynour, who in 1381 sued half the population of Norfolk (or so it seems) for an attack on his house during the peasants' revolt - then, when they turned up in court he said that these weren't the people he meant, but a whole lot of other people with the same names. Most annoying! So looking forward to something to take my mind off him! |

The guys fromthe special effects team (the same who did the DVD menu intros for B7) said that while the Camden Lock was based on the BT tower, the bow section was actually inspired by the Liberator. |

It's all in the details. And already we have some idea of the relationships going on here. (If you want an overview of the characters, check the Hyperdrive page on Wikipedia).

STARTED! This is a watch rather than a re-watch for me. Okay, then I won't tell you that in the last episode, the whole crew is massacred by the red shiny robots of Vortis with Henderson as the last man standing smiling into the camera. Ooooops. |

Love the credit counter for 'cost of call' (yes, another one of those details, M'Virn). Somehow reminds me of Blackmail. |

Does anyone know what happened to Remi Wilson (who played Piretti)? She seems to have completely dropped out of the acting/singing business a few years after HD. |

Very dull, apparently. Sounds like Paderborn where I was born. Except that the cathedral is ugly; at least from the outside. I never mustered the courage to visit it to look at the inside. |
