Hoping to find a fluffy window to join you for this one. Even though it's one of the 'daft' episodes, it's really rather sure-footed, not to mention perfectly paced and beautifully delivered. Miraculously, it even stays this side of cringe territory (compare/contrast to sundry B7 episodes that you have to watch through your fingers in whole or part). Spock, Scotty, Kirk all on tip-top form. And some absolutely joyous dialogue. 'Ermine violin...' - what a line! |

An unjustly maligned episode, in my book. Some sensational throwaway lines in this one. Really well written and acted. Will be watching via Netflix on 'big telly' with Lily cat on my lap and me awkwardly reaching round her to post. Anyone else on board for tribble trouble? |

You have to give me time to type, CB! I don't think Tribbles would respond well to knives. Nothing wrong with ST, IMO, it's just not as good as B7, for the reason I've already stated.

Kirk has soft, cuddly tribbles, who prove life-threatening, Avon has Sopron, which looks and feels like a rock and scares people, but it saves their lives.
