I'm glad I wasn't drinking tea when I read that Smile I do hope TT wasn't planning on drinking the A&S after it was run through the analyzer. First rule of the lab is no food allowed.

Laughing out loud again. This time about Ellen and her portable lab, she seems to take with her wherever she goes! Excellent!

Watching Egrorian and Pinder eating choccies in the lab always makes me cringe. I always think that this was the 'gross misconduct' for which his research paper was rescinded.

You should apply for a lab job and get into the habit of checking the Horizon website only at work. Then you wouldn't have anything to eat or drink while you are looking at these cartoons or the collective efforts of TT, Brad and me on the rewatch threads!

But please refrain from bringing any medical samples to the next convention for having them tested by Ellen!

I bet you all want to have a peek at what goes on in room 77 with TT, the three lovely sisters and the photocopier...

Instead I give you the boring events that take place in room 42:

Did I ever tell you that decades ago, I had a job operating and maintaining an industrial A0+ size photocopier? (By the way, doing that job I learned that the charging and discharging wires are called "corona"... Shock)

Steady!!

But to answer your questions:
1. I got the job in the 1990s but watched Gold not before 2011.
2. I made my own proddy tools by bending two jumbo paper clips (~70 mm) into the required shapes for dealing with the various types of paper jam. Eat your heart out, Avon!

The equivalent expression in German is (of course) more blunt: "Zwei Dumme, ein Gedanke." Or in plain simple English, "Two stupids, one thought."

Yes, I know that piri-piri isn't Indonesian, but the gag wouldn't work with sambal... and sometimes you just have to use the stuff that you can easily find in the supermarket...
