And AnneA gets another gold star for heroic cat-sick cleaning-up. What's on next week, OSP? Let me know so that I can stick it on the News page. "You're not sulking, I hope?"

If I can find it online Just let me know...and as you promised it didn't last much longer than other things. If the future films are longer, maybe we could try starting at 7.30pm? "You're not sulking, I hope?"

Time Machine sounds good - I think i might have seen that one, long ago. See you next week - and thank you again for a most interesting film. |

Did the fireman manage to put it out by the end of the film? (Reading Fahrenheit 451 at the moment, so mention something catching fire, and there's where my mind will go!).
Vote Og.

What's on next week Just a few options for possible inclusion in your comprehensive viewing programme: Invasion of the Body Snatchers (essential, I'd respectfully suggest) The War of the Worlds (traumatising 1953 version). Oh and how about the Jeff Wayne theatrical version? The Wasp Woman (indispensably bonkers) The Blob (Stevie Mac hamming it up) Them! (gi-ants, of course) The Man with the X-ray Eyes (core curriculum, I'd have thought) The Incredible Shrinking Man (ditto) Forbidden Planet (a bit overrated, but essential all the same) Plan 9 from Outer Space (notoriously bad/hilarious) The Giant Claw (ditto) To round off your programme, 2001: A Space Odyssey's a no-brainer, surely to God! You're welcome. |

You're welcome. In the so bad, it's good category, I'd nominate 'The Green Slime'. I saw it a few years ago for the first time and it was fun, camp and laugh out loud funny! Loved the aliens in it. Just a suggestion.... Cygnus Bazza- all of your suggestions are great! I've seen them all. Resist the Host

In the so bad, it's good category, I'd nominate 'The Green Slime'. Don't know that one. In a perfect world, of course, it would've been a colour/color remake of some earlier cult classic simply called 'The Slime'. ![]() |
