Thursday 10th September Dark enough for you?

Oh, that's sad - poor Sarah.

You know, it reminds me of Professor Dowell's Head. This is the famous story by Alexander Belyaev. Like the title says, it was about a head severed from the body. Still, the head could speak and retained all memories.

Also C S Lewis: 'That Hideous Strength'.

I haven't read it either, though I probably should. I like Chronicles of Narnia.

Different kettle of fish all together.

Yeah, can't imagine severed heads in Narnia. Have you read THS?

I read the trilogy years back. Need to re read it.

Excellent!

I'd like to watch the Soviet Mowgli too - perhaps after episodes 10 and 13?

I won't be around next week - the tedious meeting I was supposed to be at this week has been postponed. I will catch up in the meantime.

So are you all OK with E10 next week?

I read them a long time ago, and I have a copy of Perelandra, which I remember as the best of them. I think THS is likely to have aged badly - there were bits of it that felt very much of its time even in the late 1980s.

Yes - fine for another couple of episodes at least.

So if it's just me, OSP and Taiellin next week, we could watch the whole thing and you'd never know. Anyway, I enjoyed all the comments...CB is going to be annoyed he didn't read them at the time. Hope you all have a great week. See you next time. Or Saturday, of course. Have a great time but behave yourself abroad, CB.
