Well, you can interpret the ending two ways, which is great,

What is the other way? I see her standing at her husband's grave, and then joined by Mr Slimeball.

I love the fact that we're watching these out of order - like O(S)P's got a Random Episode Generator.

Well, they always ran the episodes out of order back in the day.

How come the official order is different from the broadcast order?

Cos the tv network people are eejits.

And that is rather interesting. You can watch in the order you like and still understand everything. At least I think so.

Are you sure it was her husband's grave? To be honest I may have switched it off too early...

Not necessary if the man-in-a-stupid-suit alien has alien enough purposes when he gets the chance to do something other than fall over.

Alien was there. Just cos he was played by a human actor is out of my control

He was in Southern England. So there was no chance of anyone talking to him.

These are great rewatch material. Not quite up there with The Champions, but not far off.

Well, I made it to the end and confounded the critics. Are we done?

Think so. Until next time, then.

It was a grave, and then she walks away and a man, who I think is Slimeball, joins her. Of course, she could be mourning a dead child, or researching her family tree.

I think I'd better rewatch the ending. Lol. Prefer the family tree idea, though.

V. happy to stick with UFO. When you’ve had enough, tho’, here’s something that’s probably been done before. Episode from each original core B7 cast member’s pre-Blake CV. E.g. could pick from:

Gareth T in Play for Today (‘Stocker’s Copper’) – not seen it tbh. Past my bedtime.
David J in Thriller (‘The Eyes Have It’) – glittering cast, hugely entertaining
Stephen Greif in Citizen Smith – essential viewing (loads of other stuff, if not available)
Jacqueline P in episode of The Edwardians – the one where Anthony Hopkins is Lloyd George and JP’s a countess
Sally K in episode of Who Pays the Ferryman? – entertainingly naff series
Paul D’s appearance in Special Branch & Michael K’s in Doomwatch – never seen those

Good way of lightly dipping into a range of classic old shows. Just an idea.

My brother has a copy of Stocker's Copper. We watched one episode and it never saw the light of day again...
Paul Darrow was in an episode of Z Cars in which he was absolutely brilliant. It was a youtube last year, may still be there.
