I'm surprised nobody has yet thought of building a tidal energy barrier across the Wash as cover for draining it, section by section, unitl they find the treasure. I'll get me flippers out. Anyone else in? OSP? AA? Taiellin? You know what happens when you go hunting for royal crowns in East Anglia. Leave me out. Silflay hraka, u embleer rah!

When are they going to do the archery competition where he splits the arrow? And then William Tell arrives and makes a fruit salad |

When are they going to do the archery competition where he splits the arrow? That's usually the highlight of the last episode, isn't it? |

Eggbeard? Eggfilth? (Sorry, Taiellin, We're remembering a brilliant History of Briton called '1066 and all that' which makes fun of the weird names of some early kings - 'a wave of Egg-kings' - and much, much more). "You're not sulking, I hope?"

This has been fun, although the bit with naked Avon was a disappointment. I've run out of nuts, and there's an owl sitting in a tree near my window yelling at me. So distracting! People talk about the peace and quiet of the countryside - it is a myth! See you again for more medieval frolics.
