* Taiellin - it's from '1066 and all that' again.

Judging by description it is quite interesting! Thanks for telling me about it.

You should watch the film Robin and Marion starring Sean Connery and Audrey Hepburn.

I heard about it thanks. Yes, I think I should watch it some day.

And the Errol Flynn one. And all 143 episodes of the Richard Greene TV series (the one with the right tune).

And Breakfast at Tiffany's. Though it could have done with a bit more medieval content

Ye olde Moon River with James the Page on lute.

It is the only history of England written for the consolation of the reader, and contains only two dates.

That's unusual.

It's a funny parody of English history as it used to be taught in schools. It was actually not that unlike our primary school history, except that ours was Scottish.

I hope, it was enjoyable. Out history teacher in the university told us not only historical facts, but also some legends and stories about past. It was really interesting.

Yes, possibly - most of my ancestors seem to have come from Fife or Angus (apart from the Irish ones, and one lot from Berkshire).

It was very enjoyable. And it did give you some of the legends, and also a timeline which helped a lot with later history.

That must have been great. The myths of the time tell us about the times in which they were made. Yours sincerely A J P 'Perry' Taylor
