Russ certainly brings every scene he appears in to vibrant life, doesn’t he?

Brad
Fix bayonets....

Are you sure this film is only 1 hour and 9 minutes long?

Does 69 minutes sound shorter?

Paula
No laughing at the monster. The best styra-foam money can buy.

Never quote a good movie in the middle of a bad movie.

That's because he had to do the uplifting speech bit at the end.

After reading that epilogue he probably wished he were dead.

He's distracting us from the fact that this film came from inside a human being.

You're going to regret saying that, Vine fan.

The worse the monster the better I love it. I have a few ideas in mind for other selections for the Crud Club but have to check if they are on YouTube. But for me there's nothing bad about a foam rubber monster which has no articulations, no eye movement and makes me laugh.

What about their evil intentions?

Don't really care. This monster was easily dealt with.

Well, thanks to all involved, it was a fun film to riff with you all. See you all the next time, watching whatever- 'night all.

Right. I'm off to watch some crap on YT to help me recover. See you soon, lovies. Brad and Paula - if you haven't seen HYPERDRIVE you really ought to. This week is the one with the song, and the talky doors.

Didn't quite make it to the end. I GOT BANNED! BINNED! BUNDLED AWAY IN AN UNMARKED VEHICLE! DISPATCHED TO THE FORUM'S EQUIVALENT OF CYGNUS ALPHA! For overposting, purportedly! I know! It was probably because I mentioned Greenland. Thankfully, intensive shuttle diplomacy stretching well into the late evening resulted in the ban being rescinded. Probably a split decision. Possibly a spilt one. Massive thanks to my crack legal team, headed up by M1. (I said 'crack'.)

Addendum: I've never been banned from a website before. One more item ticked off the bucket list.

Big thanks to Paula for suggesting It Conquered the World even though it didn't. Definitely a Hall of Pain crud monster. I especially love the insights into 1950s US domesticity - and the 1950s US worldview - afforded to us by these films. A world before men knew how to switch on a kettle - and possibly even how to fill one - let alone rustle up a quick Salade Niçoise.

Question now is, what next on Wednesdays? With CRUDFEST still under development, maybe a chance to slip in a bit of WET GECKO? Or why not road-test the Month of Sundays idea and get M1 to force us to watch something (i) we've never heard of, (ii) we can't believe she likes and (iii) we'll never, ever forgive her for, for as long as we all live? That's definitely my idea of entertainment.

Sorry, we just can't seem to fit it in on Thursdays but we can search it out ourselves, we take your advice seriously, one crudder to another.

Wet Gecko, Month of Sunday's- whatever you like. Suggest something. We look forward to getting together with the gang. Strait-jackets optional.
