They took off in a silver B25, now they are using footage from 30 Seconds over Tokyo. That roundel marking went out in 1942.

The 'claw' gives us the finger as it sinks slowly into the Atlantic Ocean. New York is saved, sort of, and everyone gets a drumstick for dinner.

I guess the director and producer of the film were horrified to see how badly they made the model bird. It was laughable, and so was it's screech. They would have done better making a bald eagle model, at least that would have looked menacing.
